Controlled Practical Assessment
During the two-year course you will perform 12 required practical experiments. These experiments will take the course content and allow you to apply the knowledge you have learnt to the real world. At the end of the course you will receive a practical endorsement alongside your final exam grade.
Entry Requirements
Students must also be studying A Level Mathematics. Please refer to the John of Gaunt Sixth Form entry requirements.
Attendance
You need to complete one year for the AS Level and two years for the A Level.
Moving on
Moving on This course aims to develop an interest in further study and careers in Physics as well as the wider field where the ability to think logically, understand complex ideas and apply them to the real world is necessary. Whether you want to pursue a career in Science, Education or a host of other fields, Physics will enable you to show you have the skills, knowledge and understanding required.
